Business Coalition for a Global Plastics Treaty brings together businesses and financial institutions committed to supporting the development of an ambitious, effective and legally binding United Nations (UN) treaty to end plastic pollution. The coalition is convened by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and the World Wide Fund (WWF) organisation, in collaboration with aligned businesses and supported by strategic Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) partners.

Circular economy in which plastic never becomes waste or pollution, and the value of products and materials is retained in the economy. A comprehensive circular economy approach can address the root causes of plastic pollution, and contribute to the global efforts to combat the climate and biodiversity crisis, while delivering economic, environmental, and social benefits.
